Excellent condition Lights don't come on at night $3 / Hour according to a sign but I played several times without paying. I missed this park in version 1.0. Its not well publicized.

Poor Private courts for tenants Testimonial - Glad to see your site on tennis in Allegheny County but don't believe the hype about the court (emphasis on singularity - there is only ONE court) in Thorn Run. The court at the time of my move two years ago was ruined. My husband and I hardly played on it because the kids from Mooncrest made their own game of throwing rocks at us. The management never locked the court as it was supposed to be just for residents. The sign in your picture is for an unrelated management company not the one that owns Thorn Run or at least I hope they don't drive through and look at it everyday because they should be ashamed what the rent they charge ($625 for a one bedroom).
Lots of the Riverhounds soccer players moved in to Thorn Run at the end of 2004. They used the tennis court for chipping soccer balls into the already pathetic net.
Courts beginning to buckle Unusual surface. I enjoyed it tremendously. The court is soft on the legs but plays fast like grass. Id highly encourage playing here.
The asphalt is uneven in spots with a couple cracks and the net is fair. A good spot for practicing serving llocation: behind the baseball field as you enter the park from Foster Street.
